The pandemic has underlined the need for knowledge and specifically scientific knowledge. Making creative and vibrant content about science is at the core of public service media. Sharing knowledge in an attractive way to listeners wherever they live, whatever background or possibilities life has given them, is more important than ever. In this webinar, Deborah Cohen, Head of BBC Radio Science talks about the the growing audience interest and evolution of scientific radio programs and podcasts in the last decade. We then hear about two programmes, The Infinite Monkey Cage, by BBC producer Alexandra Feachem, and The Life Scientific by BBC producer Anna Buckley, which are great examples of creative and vibrant audio content about science.
