Many media organizations have a sustainability or net zero strategy in place.

This document therefore recommends that sustainability requirements be added to the procurement documents and processes for cloud services:

• Sustainability factors should be considered and included from the outset.
• Sustainability requirements should have a weighting factor in the procurement decision.
• Sustainability should be continuously assessed throughout the duration of the cloud services contract.
